Re: Wildcam Africa - Pete's Pond
It was lovely first thing this morning Lai Pai. Just had a look and there is loads of splashing going on and Bonnie looking for that rogue Clyde.

Oh yea of little faith LW. Clyde's not a rogue, all the splashing you can hear is Clyde giving the Kids their night time bath

Is that what you call it WS, sounded more like him trying to get his beak round his pint and making a lot of noise about it

Re: Wildcam Africa - Pete's Pond
As it was quiet elsewhere I spent some time at Petes Pond this morning, it was around 8-30am there. They are 2 Hrs ahead of UK time in Botswana. At first there were no animals around, and the Cam just focused on this Bird, not sure what it is
Then a small herd of Wildebeast came to the Pond for a drink
They had quite a few young with them
They were followed by a small group of Antelope who also had young
Then there was a family of Warthogs, having a wallow, with a small baby. The Baby was really funny, his Mum had to push it away from the mud to make it leave, and it was running along side her like a puppy
It was lovely sitting here in the UK, watching it all unfold on full screen, while having breakfast. A great way to start the Day

Re: Wildcam Africa - Pete's Pond
Thanks WS - it looked lovely at Pete's pond when you were checking the cam.
All those wildies, warthogs and impala - I think the bird is a Woodland Kingfisher, very beautiful.

Re: Wildcam Africa - Pete's Pond
Thanks for all the pictures WS and that is a nice way to start the day - that's like your own wee private safari in your living room
Little warthogs are so cute and incredibly funny. We've seen tiny ones in the Mara and it was impossible to get a photo of them as they move amazingly quick so you're better to just watch and smile :)
