All peaceful at Pete's pond at the moment but lovely bird song and a few jumping fish but too fast to catch on cam.

The Elles were back, when I logged on. I'm not sure these are twins, although they came in together with the female, and older calf difficult to tell the age of that one. The female left with one of the young ones, and the other left with the older calf in seperate directions.
I also found this clip
Twin elephants are extremely rare all over the world and have a really low survival rate. Considering the extremely long gestation time for elephants (22 months!)

Love that last photo WS and great to see the two young eles. I have never heard of twins and imagine the survival rate is almost nil. Imagine 22 months pregnancy
