Great photos SM and WS - the eles are great when they all come in - and then suddenly they've all gone again.

Just missed two wildies leaving the waterhole - only caught their back ends! Plenty of very noisy guinea fowl and then this very fine looking heron who was quite vocal.

Result - I am back working on my pc with MWsnap

Wildcam Africa - Pete's Pond - Page 3 Mwsnap26

Wildcam Africa - Pete's Pond - Page 3 Mwsnap27 - the heron is still hanging around, must be having a good days fishing.

I missed the warthog as I was still messing with MWsnap but it does look very peaceful there.

The Elles were back, when I logged on. I'm not sure these are twins, although they came in together with the female, and older calf difficult to tell the age of that one. The female left with one of the young ones, and the other left with the older calf in seperate directions.
I also found this clip
Twin elephants are extremely rare all over the world and have a really low survival rate. Considering the extremely long gestation time for elephants (22 months!)

Wildcam Africa - Pete's Pond - Page 3 We140
Then there was this weird Ghostly affraid looking Elephant

Love that last photo WS Laughing and great to see the two young eles. I have never heard of twins and imagine the survival rate is almost nil. Imagine 22 months pregnancy affraid
