Buckminster....AKA Buck
A few of you will know that I have a new member to the family. He is a Golden Cocker Spaniel and he is a new friend for Nero who was desperately missing Bentley.
Buck was born on the 24th September which is kind of poignant as Bentley sadly died in September, so to us he is a special little fellow.
At first Nero was like, Oh mum I didn't really mean I wanted a new playmate but now they are getting along just fine and he has really perked Nero up. He is the same character as Nero but I would say a little brighter.....sorry Nero and also a little more determined but he is so loveable and affectionate and again loves the cats......although he did have a little grumble at Spook the other day and was promptly told off for it but he has been brought up with cats so knows the pecking order......cats rule and dogs drool
So heres a few pics of Neros Christmas present.
He got worn out counting the sleeps as well WS
His Teddy is bigger than he is.
Having a good chomp on his rawhide chew.
Thats our new addition guy's and we are all very happy.

What an absolutly beautiful fellow he is LW. Those pictures are stunning of him. I know you've just said he's brighter than Nero, but I still can't believe he can write at his age Dare'nt show Mrs S you know what the cry will be

He's just sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sweet Littlewid - what a gorgeous spaniel and how lovely for Nero to have a friend, it's lovely to think that all your furries get on so well.
Thanks for the photos - I could look at them for hours, especially the one of him lying on his back sleeping - he just looks adorable.

Oh my LW, what a gorgously, cute and adorable addition to the Widdy household Lovely photos and the first two are my favourites
So great to hear that all the animals are getting on well and it has made a difference to Nero having a new friend to play with and curl up to
Loved your quote "cats rule and dogs drool" - never heard that before, it's brilliant

Thanks guy's, I think he is adorable too.....mind you, so does he That saying comes from the film Homeward Bound Doogs, it's a film about two dogs and a cat and it's the saying the cat uses and it's always made me smile and it's just so true.

Re: Buckminster....AKA Buck
Is that the same as the book 'the Incredible Journey'? two dogs and a cat finding their way home to their owners. I cried the whole way through it when I was in my teens - even though it had a happy ending!!!

It's the same film Lai. The incredible Journey was the original in the 60's and then it was remade in the 90's under the Title Homeward Bound - The Incredible Journey. I still watch it alot, it is funny and sad and as an adult I still love it.

I thought I'd heard it before, now that you've said LW I remember watching the film. Before you ask it was the 90s one, the other was before my time Brilliant story, and film

I have lots of empty spaces too and licks on the camera and also tails that I think belong to a body
