Bad news from the Serengeti

I'm too angered by this to comment.

I agree - but poaching is on the increase - there are now daily reports and unless something is done soon it will have a devastating impact on these animals.

Your right there Lai Rhino Horn is selling at $7,500 Dollars an ounce, and only by stopping the demand at the end of the chain will it stop. You can catch the poachers, and try to protect the Rhino as much as possible, but while there's a demand, with the money on offer so high the temptation fpr people to get there hands on so much money means that poaching will still continue.
It's sad that these were the first 5 of a group of 32 that were being relocated from South Africa, and I wonder if that will now be in danger

Its a pity all those little campaign on stopping poaching can not come together as one voice. If there was a consequence to the countries and governments then maybe they will heed a louder voice.
