Thanks PPH. That sentence is fully deserved, and lets hope it leads to more prosecutions. The number is very low, and the more they prosecute, the more the message might get through

Both of those stories are so sad PPH. Swans are such beautiful creatures . I think the sentance in the first one was far to short for the crime committed, that must have been so horrible for the swan.
I really hope they catch the offenders of the second one and that the money keeps rising.

Those are my polite comments........I am actually boiling so much I daren't say how I am feeling and what I would like to happen to these people.

I have always been told that I am a positive person so no matter how sickening and abhorrent the crime I take from this that there are people who are willing to stand up and either punish the people, be outraged by these acts or give their hard earned money to hopefully bring these horrid individuals to justice

I have been a fan of Terry Pratchett for years and he went up more in my estimation when he offered the money to bring hopefully bring these people to justice.

My personal opinion is that they should be strung up by their unmentionables and I am glad I have found like minded people who feel the same and it renews my faith in people

True PPH. If it was'nt for the bravery of the Lady, the Swan would most cerainly be dead, and bravo to Terry Pratchett. I'll bring the rope, and I bet the rest of the Guys will help us to pull them up
