That is just so sad WS. She was a beautiful cub and I didn't expect that outcome. Sita had done amazingly well to get her to that stage and if she had survived she would have had a life of captivity but a tough one being blind, it would have been hard giving her any enrichment, so I suppose it was the kindest thing in the end but just so sad.
Bless her I love you

Sita and charger is indeed amazing...

she was totally depressed after the death of her blind cub...amazing maternal instinct...reminded me about an elephant whose calf died, she used stay beside her dead calf unable to accept that it was dead..such a true mother :)

very True WS, i have read about Sita...the profile pic i have put is hers...

i really admire her a lot...she was a dotted mother...

it was said that, she used to care about her son who had a limb in his leg even after he was a fully grown male...

usually fully grown males leave their mother,or in other words are forced to leave ...but Sita and Charger cared a lot for their handicapped son even after he became an adult...

there is no news of what happened to Sita...some says she was poached,or may be died a normal death Sad

bless her...she was a sweet mother:)

the bandhavgrah national part owe a lot to her:)
