Re: Todays Smile
Two fantastic clips WS. The deer ID is brilliant, definitely one to remember as they are impossible from the front
The Jackson clip is just so lovely, it really inspires me to hear him speak so passionately.
Thanks WS - a great way to start the weekend.

Re: Todays Smile
Who would ever have thought that peeing and pooping would be so facinating. I never ever have seen an animal perform such acrobatics to mark dominance. That was such an interesting watch Lai. At first you think, wow Pandas are so cute and cuddly but DA always stops you thinking that by making you interested in the facts about the animal he is talking about.

I've got that as my ringtone on my phone, had it for quite a while. You can hear it no matter how much noise there is. I think the camera shutter, and the chain saw is brilliant.
Thanks Lai

Re: Todays Smile
that was wonderful WS - what an experience, a lion roar really is quite something and can be heard for miles so that must have been something else for Saba.
A great Wednesday smile

Re: Todays Smile
What a totally amazing bird that Lyre, loved it There were times when I thought he sounded a bit like R2D2 from Star Wars !!!
Am I right in saying that was our handsome lad Notch at the start of WS's africa clip ?? Certainly looked like him. Couldn't see the spots well enough to work out which leopard that was
I would love to hear/see a lion roar like that, must be fantastic. I remember one night in the Mara wakening in the middle of the night and hearing a lion roaring far off in the distance, it put tingles down my spine :)

Re: Todays Smile
In the gardens of London during the hours of darkness in Springtime, a strange and fascinating ritual is taking place - hedgehog mating. This entertaining clip shows David Attenborough examining how these prickly creatures get intimate. From the BBC's Life of Mammals
I thought this one was a good one for today as Littlewid has had Reggie the hedgie staying.
