Great links Littlewid. It would be wonderful to say we had them on the river here but the minks have ensured we don't. I really hope they can be protected and their future secured.

Great to see, and read those LW Thanks. Chris Packham featured them on his programe last Friday. It is as Lai said the Mink thats the problem, they have been creating Mink free zones around the Country, and there's one in Scotland. Where these zones have been created they have reintroduced the Voles, and they are thriving

Thanks for your link too Doogs The pics were taken by the same photographer and some are in both links, which I suppose isnt surprising as they are by the same person. There are lots of nice ones and really cute ones, I love the one in the first clip in the 10 pics where he has captured one swimming under water.
They are adorable and such a shame they are endangered. When I went to our local Wildfowl and Wetlands trust I managed to get a pic of one, not very clear or easy to spot but he was there in the pic. I think WS enlarged it so it was a little clearer.
