A type of snail that was previously thought to be extinct in the UK has been found alive in a pond in Hampshire.

Chichester seems to be hitting the headlines today SM, another little find just up the road from me. Must admit i don't really like snails in the garden, last year we were inundated with them but i am pleased this little guy has survived and his location is being kept a secret as it's important that species continue to thrive.....even if i don't really like them on my patch
