I so hope there is another reason for this happening and not deliberate poisoning. I feel so sorry for the dogs and their owners, it must be horrendous for them and if it is deliberate I hope the culprits are found and dealt with, I am however hoping there is another explanation.

Appreciate this is not wildlife and they are not our pets either and it's not light hearted chat so thought this was the best place to put it.

If it is a case of someone deliberately poisoning the area then they need stringing up (sorry to be graphic) honestly there are some sick people. It seems a lot of unexplained deaths for it just to be something natural although toxic, otherwise why has it just started?

What a sad read, those poor dogs and their poor owners, I wonder what other wildlife (as yet not mentioned) might also have been affected.

Thanks for the link LW, what a sad story. To me 8 dogs dying seems to much for it not to be deliberate poisoning. It's like my thoughts on another thread PPH put up, why do people do these things ? Mad Evil or Very Mad Crying or Very sad scratch

As Lai said, you have to wonder if other animals / birds have been affected as well ?

I know how I would feel if that happened to Syd or someone else I know's dog so my heart goes out to all the people who's dogs have been affected. I hope they either catch whoever has done this or work out what the problem is.
