We're going a bit upmarket today at Tembe. A couple of Rhino having a dip,and some Zebra that moved off as soon as one of the Rhino got up





Then I saw this strange Animal at EP

Boy I'm really having a good morning today, just went back to Tembe. The Rhino have moved off, and a Bull Elephant has moved in, he's having the time of his life splashing himself all over with mud, that he's stirred up by digging around at the bottom of the water

It was worth the early start WS love all the photos, what a great start to the day to see the animals back and the cams working.

WS, you certainly are the main man today, what a start to the day you have had, and capturing that odd creature on the back of a jeep as well really pleased you got up early to get all those brilliant pics, just loved the Bull Elephant having fun in the mud

I thought I would check the night cam at Elephant Plains - sadly no animals around but lots of frogs croaking and crickets and general night sounds.

I must remember to check this one in the evenings some animals coming in to drink would be wonderful to see.

There were about 3 Elephants, and some Antelope in the distance at Tembe this morning

Checked EP, and NK tonight 11-00pm, but I think the Animals were all having an early night.

This morning shots 6-00am
Lions at Tembe first time I've seen them in daylight. Spotted this Male first hunkering down in the grass





Then an Elephant came walking right through where he was lying up, he was up that fast I missed the shot

The next minute a Lioness came out the bushes to the left of where the Elephant was going through

They looked as though they were hoping to ambush something coming to the water hole. Then the Cam operator seemed to loose interest in them and switched to Elephants

This Elephant was having a dust bath throwing it all over with it's trunk

Then decided it's trunk was tired, and it needed to rest

The Elephants were, were quietly eating when a couple of Rhino decided to join them for breakfast

but the Elephants were'nt sharing
