Yes it was early Lai, and I'm afraid Guys thats the last of the early ones for a while. I'm off to the Pub for just over a week I dont mean drinking . I'm running it again, while they are on holiday, and although I'll have my friends laptop, its not fast enough for the web cam streams.
I've found out that the Elephant with the big tusks is called Isilo the King

We'll miss you WS - I definitely won't be manning the cams at that time of day but will try and check them from time to time.
Good name - does it mean King or is he just so big he is known as the king?

Two lionesses at Tembe Elephant Park
Hard to see but the one on the right decided to lie down at the wrong moment and the one on the left rolled and all you can see is her two back legs
One lioness went to get a drink and then was off
Fading light now but she went up the tree
Can't be comfortable
I was hoping to watch her come down, but the cam panned round to the left again which revealed a male lion and another lioness.

Re: Post your Africam Pics
They are lovely Lai, I love the sky at Tembe, it's gorgeous isn't it. EP was busy this afternoon.......even managed to catch a Baboon Bum
Ooo just caught your other pics, brilliant, the place is alive, it really is so wonderful, must admit the Lioness up the tree didn't look comfortable did she.

Re: Post your Africam Pics
It was a hub of activity and the birds were giving away the fact the lion and lionesses were there - but it was great to watch.
I must try and catch them again early evening SA time.

Re: Post your Africam Pics
I'm always in that dilema of wanting the big cats to eat but not wanting anything to be killed, so I would half be smiling the birds were giving them away but then also feeling sad they didnt get to eat........that doesn't help with the reality of it all does it.

Glad you got the Lioness's Lai. There is certainly a pride around there, I've only seen a single Lioness at a time, and then at a distance, but there is a Male as well.

Great shots of the Elles AM thanks I've really missed the Cams while I've been away. Looks like 3 fairly young Elles there from the size

Re: Post your Africam Pics
Really quiet on Africam this morning, looks as though it's quite hot. Only some what I think from the shape of the horns are Kudu at Tembe
You can see the horns better in this one. They are lying in the shade relaxing
