That really was one very lucky Mouse. I wonder if it shows a difference between an urban Fox Cub, and a rural Fox Cub. Is the urban Cub not realising that its prey, and therefor food, as the food it eats is either left out for it, or its mother brings in scraps, ane would the rural Cub already be able to identifi it as prey

It could be WS, its a good point but also Gill seems to put food out as well and they also eat the food she puts out for the birds on the ground, so maybe the urge to kill is not quite the same but maybe it was just one of those times that the instinct just wasn't there. Now I am thinking about emailing the Dr from Brighton University who was on Foxes live as thats her kind of thing.

its all peaceful in the garden, its lovely and sunny and the pond and flowers look lovely, there are quite a few midges flying around the pond and the odd bird flying in and out, but not settling to get a picture, no sign of any foxes.
May email Brighton after the weekend Lai.

Our three bundles of fluff are doing well, at the moment they are all huddled together in the corner but they look great.

Earlier on I checked the Peregrine cam and wow it was all happening, all 3 were feeding 'Little Dude' was at the front and not giving way to the others, the noise was unbelievable but it was lovely to see all 3 doing so well. Great to see them relaxing in your photo Littlewid and Charlie and Tom having a break!

I just checked Gill's garden just now and it's all peaceful as you say Littlewid.

Lovely photos of this morning Lai, those chicks really have grown haven't they and yes it's wonderful to see little Dude doing so well after his wonky start that could have ended so differently.
Just had a look in and it's dark but they have changed the camera angle and i'm not sure if thats mum or dad on the wall, I don't think it's a chick, it's too big.

Gills garden looked wonderful this morning, it's all dark now and no-one in sight.
