I think it's the Waxwings that Chris Packham keeps hoping to see on Autumn Watch TB. I wonder who will see them first......my fingers are crossed for you.

Last year was a good Waxwing year, some years we get none at all, depends on the weather and food supply in eastern europe.Seems as though Russia is suffering from severe weather already, might be more migrants coming our way, keep your eyes peeled.

We are shopping at Milton Keynes at the weekend and that is where we saw a flock of them same time last year. You never know.

Ooo hopefully you will get to see one SM. On Autumn Watch there was a Waxwing and they said about the bad weather in Russia so yes TB, hopefully they will now start migrating over here. Does it have to be a little colder here before they start migrating though?

There have been a few reported around Angus already and it's still warm for this time of year.
