Thanks for that Littlewid. What a sad story but a good warning to us all, I had never thought about fungi. Tamu is always eating bits and pieces so I will have to keep a good eye on her.

Thank you LW. I'll have to keep an eye on Millie when we are out walking. She's always stopping to eat nice thick grass but you never know if there is anything else there as well.

That poor dog, and poor owners, so sad.

It is a very sad story but I knew a few of us walked dogs in the woods and they snaffle things up so quickly they could be eating anything but I have also seen Fungi growing in peoples gardens this year so even street walking could potentially be dangerous, so alert eyes is what we need.
