Thats really shocking WS. I had a look at his FB page too and the interview he did with the woman from Cee4life, he sounded quite cold really. I hope it is a hoax because he sounds the kind of person that would do such a thing and probably come up with the answer that it would give other males in the area the opportunity to take over a pride and introduce different genes, he would say he was doing the conservation of Lions a favour, thats how I read him, nasty piece of work.

I wonder if Jonathan has heard anything about this or Jackson or maybe even Ronnie?

Aatish Patel Hey WS, yes I did hear about this a couple of days ago. But to be honest, the Mara is not the sort of place where someone can get out of the vehicle and shoot an animal.
Although it is good that this point was brought up and would be good if everyone remained aware and vigilant.
This morning Notch and 3 of his boys were around not very far from camp

Thats good that Aatish got back so quickly WS and also quite comforting that he doesn't seem to be too worried. He is right that the Mara is not the kind of place to just get out of your vehicle and shoot so many Lions but being on alert is good as there is often one idiot that would try it if the price was right. It would be nice if Jonathan or Jackson would respond as well, three no worries would be great.

Not heard anymore, I think J&A are really to busy with trips, and everything, but I think if Aatish has heard then it could be general knowledge round the Mara, and people will be keeping an eye out

I am sure guides and tourists that love Notch and the guys will also be keeping an eye out too. I am sure Jonathan will post something on his blog when he has time as he usually is very good at replying especially to these kind of things.
