First pictures of brothers, age 5 and 7, who were crushed in their sleep
by 16-foot python that slithered into their room through a vent

Noah and Connor Barth were sleeping at an apartment above the Reptile Ocean pet store in Campbellton in New Brunswick, Canada
Serpent escaped its cage and slithered to the home through the air ducts
Punched a hole in the ceiling and dropped onto boys as they slept
Royal Canadian Mounted Police have seized the snake and are investigating

Totally horrendous, and how on earth did it escape to get through the air ducts?

What a terrible tragic accident, reading the details it seems incomprehensible how the snake managed to get from the shop to the where the boys were sleeping. I wonder if the snake landed on the boys, and curled round them with the shock, and fear of falling from the ceiling

That truely is a very sad and tragic story, how on earth must that mother feel, it doesnt bare thinking about. They look like two very lovely boys. I am thinking the same WS that maybe after falling through the ceiling the snake was scared and coiled round the boys, as they say, snakes rarely attack unless they are attacked or scared and as he wasnt found coiled round them it would seem that maybe landing on them scared him and then he moved off. Whatever happened no one will ever really know but that poor mothers grief will go for a life time.
