Good news if it is correct - I am always sceptical with their figures. But a long long way to go.

That is good news WS and I too hope it is correct. We have known the Indian Government to be a little strange on their figures before and they have not always been very supportive of the Tiger and some agencies have had trouble getting the backing of the Government. I know some of the Ghandi family try and work on behalf of the Tiger and they have not always been truely supported by the Government. So I hope dearly that this report is a good sign for the Tiger.......my favourite big cat
