WOW Chui, that is some story and some rescue. Your heart is thumping for the little cub in distress but also for his mum, what a brave rescue she made, it must have been terrifying for her to realise it was her cub down there and she was the one to rescue him. What a relief it all went well and both are ok, an amazing story of love and courage Chui.

What a fantastic story Chui. Thanks thats made my day. What a brilliant, and brave Mother to even attempt to save the Cub from that situation, and to actualy achieve it when in such danger just shows as the heading says Motherly Love

Those extra pictures really show how dramatic that rescue was. I can't believe neither of them lost their lives, it must have been terrifying for both of them and i'm surprised the little cub could hold on that long, he was at full stradle at one point and when the mum was picking him up, she was at an akward angle and could easily have fell. Her paws in pic 8 I think were so dirty, you could see how hard it had been for her to claw into the cliff to hold on.
An amazing Mother and a brave little cub to hold out for the rescue. I am in awe of them both
