A dramatic fight between an older male lion and a juvenille. It must have been scary and I think he was a bit daft but then again, thinking about it, this young Lion will be a force to contend with later one. I just hope he recovers from his injuries.

Wow that was some fight by the look of it. I thought at first reading it that the older Male was trying to eject the younger Male from the Pride as happens when sub adults get to old. I can see the sense in him trying to form a coalition, but it seems a strange way to go about it. Hopefully the younger Male will get over his injuries.

I thought it was an out right fight of regection too WS but yes on reading the article it does make sense that the older male was trying to form a coalition with him being the boss but he was being a tad rough wasnt he.
