Re: Back Scratchers
Brilliant WS and very clever of them both, made me laugh how they were nibbling in the same spot on each other.
Brilliant coats they have, is that to keep the sun off or was it cold in Wales today?

It's to keep the off. Sue who runs the stables here is really very good at looking after the Horses, she has all sorts of coats for different weathers for them. They do it quite often, but this is the first time I've been able to get them on Video

Forgot to say Jubbly, was the new Horse Sue bought to replace Sullivan who some of you may remember sadly died after an accident

Re: Back Scratchers
I've never seen horses in summer coats to protect them from the sun WS but I wondered if thats what they awere for, it's a brilliant idea and good on Sue for having them.
I remember Sullivan, it was so sad when he died from his leg accident, but Jubbly looks a lovely fellow and a good companion for Charlie

Re: Back Scratchers
Great to see WS! Apparently the nibbling is mutual grooming, which is used between horses to say "we are friends".

Re: Back Scratchers
That could be right SM. I thought that as it was hot they may have been getting salt off each other from sweating, must remember to ask Sue about it
