Amazing to see the photos. So pleased the ele has retired now, as I imagine the training process may not have been very pleasant.

We know Elephants can swim, but it must have been exhausting for them to do such long journeys, but at 60 the Elephant must have been looked after well to reach that age, and I'd say retirement has been well earned. Grat photos

It does look a bit strange seeing such a large animal swimming but they obviously enjoy it. Glad to hear though that the long distance swimming is a thing of the past - definitley a well earned retirement elephant
