I remember the film The Birds What a Face and I have often thought that crows were intelligent, lets hope not too intelligent.

Laughing I agree, The Birds absolutely terrified me, what a film!

They certainly are intelligent, they steal all the nuts and bits I put on our bird table and the other birds never get a look in. They have learned how to hang off some of the other feeders as well, some days I think I am only feeding crows and jackdaws What a Face

Now that was a Hitchcock special affraid . We' had the same problem here Lai, I put a wooden platform over one feeder to stop them, then they started unhooking the feeders off the station, they ended up all over the place, so I fastened them on with cable ties, it makes it a bit awkward filling them up, but it worked. They are clever, as they've now worked out that the feeders wont come off, and they leave them alone.
