We had a lovely few days in Bristol and Bath, we stayed in Bristol in the Premier Inn which is in the old part of the city. Definitely would recommend staying there is you just want a central hotel near all the sights

We went on an open tour bus to see the sights, some of them below

Clarence decided to have a go at steering the ship

The pub next to our hotel called the Llandoger Trow, its 17th Century and is apparently where Daniel DeFoe met the man who was the inspiration for Robinson Crusoe

We also had a lovely day out in Bath. The weather was a lot better than the day we spent sightseeing in Bristol.

Wonderful shots PPH! Since I'm here in the US this is really interesting to me. These are the types of things I'd love to see if I ever get the chance to visit the UK. Amazing the things I'm sure we all have nearby that we probably don't think of as special, simply because they are relatively nearby.

Thanks for the photos PPH, sounds like you had a great couple of days away.

Bath is a city I've never been to but woud like to. Of course if I do ever go there would have to be a horse racing meeting on at the same time Wink Laughing

Looks a great place to visit PPH, I know that I have been through Bath many many years ago with my Mum, and Dad, but cant remeber anything about the place. So it's nice to see some photos of it, and also Bristol
