Thanks Doogs thats a really interesting study, and it sounds as though they are really in trouble. One thing it highlighted for me was that the same problem is happening to other wildlife species. Like the Tiger, and in some cases Lions in certain parts of Africa. There are reserves, and National Parks for both, but there needs to be coridoors between these places that facilitate the movement between them so that the gene pool of the species is getting a constant influx of new blood. It does'nt only apply to predators, but to all sorts of other animals throughout the World mainly due to habitat loss
