I am so impressed and yet I shouldn't be really as we are quick to underestimate animals. Parrots have the ability to talk to why shouldn't their brains allow them to problem solve as well. I loved how onnce he had neary got the nut he put the stick down to get it with his beak and then when it wasn't quite in touch he picked the stick up again.
I know most people, scientists, researches think that Primates are the clever ones but as they say, Corvids can do this so why not Parrots, I think we are the stupid ones most of the time for underestimating all sorts of animals.

That was a brilliant article Doogs and a really great clip.

It just shows how mucth we still have to learn about animals we think we know. We have so many presumptions about them and there not always right. As LW says if corvids can do it then why not Parrots, perhaps thing like this come to the fore when theres a need to do it to get the food
