i know trentham gardens i havent been their but its always on our local news for one thing and another
i didnt know they had the monkeys there i so wont to go now ive been on their web site
in fact i might do when i have a week off work in august as its only a train ride away and its fairly cheap to get into
be great to take pics of the monkeys and stroll round the gardens

i will be off on my rambles this week end weather permitting lol
not sure where though but i will take my camera and se what pics i can take

I hope you make the trip Stafflass there's lots more there to see as well as the Monkeys. They have loads of small shop type cabins that sell all sorts of craft, and food itmes as well as a big
building with loads of stuff. To see the Monkeys you go on a boat across the lake to the Island where they live. Thats how they can live free, and wild.
It's not that far from you Lai. You take the road to Congleton where you meet the A34, then just stay on it. It takes you straight there proberbly less than an hour.

Thanks WS - i know it's not far and dead easy to get to from here, definitely one for a visit soon. I'll let you know when we're going and will take my camera for sure.

Staffslass, just wondering if you have been on any recent rambles. Now that the weather has changed does that deter you or are you a hardy rambler regardless of weather? A hint of rain and I stay indoors.
