That really is good news, and so many Pups just brilliant, hope they all survive. Great photos, but I'm not so sure on the commentary. I was unsure why their numbers were so low, considering they have the best hunting success rate of any of the preditors, and apparently 60% is due to human activity

Oh My Goodness that was close but how exhilarating must that have been. As they said Cheetahs yes but a male Leopard sooooooo close, wonderful but I bet his heart was going like the clappers

Re: Kicheche Camp Update
Spot of the Week - Rock Stars
To the Scottish client who communicated with us last week doubting the ‘intimate’ location of Nelangu’s crèche (the Mara Camp car-park), thanks to the Frost family ( first timers to Africa), we are delighted to provide some pictorial evidence.
Nelangu comes from an altruistic family tree, her mother Zawadi was no stranger to granite and it appears this bloodline is set in stone. However one mum, two tiny cubs, in perfect light on granite 100 metres from the manager’s tent is dining from a stratospheric high table ….. can it get any better, or indeed any more local?
Predicting these cubs future is as ill-advised as predicting the winner of a Sochi ski cross heat but for now they look in rude good health. As for our ‘Thomas’, flights leave for Nairobi each evening from terminals four and five ……

How brilliant see Nelangu, and so close to camp with her Cubs. great that Zawadi's family tree is still going strong, and hopefully theses two little Cubs will make it to adult hood.

Re: Kicheche Camp Update
I've missed a few of these Doogs but that last one is lovely, great pic of the two Lions although it looks as though one Lion has two heads and the mum with her two Leopard cubs is just lovely.
Thanks for the link Doogs and ...........note to self.......check this thread more often

Re: Kicheche Camp Update
You can never get enough pictures of leopard cubs WS That's why I have to keep going back to Kenya, never seen little ones so it's at the very top of my 'hit list' !

Re: Kicheche Camp Update
I bet none of you thought what I thought when I got this from Kicheche - thought it was real . . .
not the fact that's it's actually advertising the migration !!
