Re: African Wildlife Foundation
Apart from seeing all the magnificent animals in the video, and knowing its such a worthwhile one to support, I was so touched by the way they all spoke with such an enthusiastic compassion for what they were doing and for conservation.
A brilliant watch WS.

Re: African Wildlife Foundation
AWF e-mail today which mentions the African Cats film we are all waiting for .........
See Disneynature "African Cats" Film and Save the Savanna
The Honorable Mr. Mkapa wasn’t the only VIP at the Conservation Centre celebration. Disneynature came too, and while there, delivered some roaring good news: This Earth Day it will collaborate with AWF on a program to celebrate the release of the new Disneynature feature film “African Cats.” During the opening week (April 22-28), a portion of the film’s proceeds will be donated to AWF through the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund to ensure the future of lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, giraffes and a host of other animals in the vibrant African savanna. AWF will use the funds to protect the Amboseli Wildlife Corridor.
“We are committed to helping the African Wildlife Foundation establish this protective corridor, building upon previous enormously successful conservation efforts from the Disneynature label,” said Alan Bergman, president of The Walt Disney Studios.
The film, which will be released in theaters worldwide, opens in North America on April 22, 2011. Tickets for groups of 20 or more are already available in the United States by calling 1-888-DISNEY6.
