Although these are two birds we see here in the UK this was about a Woodpecker Mother and a Baby Sparrow in Russia. This is just amazing and I have not heard of a Woodpecker doing this before  I love you

WOW big  Very Happy from me too on this one. I would'nt believe taht if not for the photos. The Woodpecker gets a lot of bad press, for killing other Birds babys so to see this was brilliant

You know I'm not very good with birds but that is certainly something I've never heard of and surely, like Lai says, must be unusual  scratch
