Harpy Eagles documentary
A BBC Natural History team has spent a year in Venezuela observing the rarely seen Harpy Eagle. The preview looks good, showing one of the eagles attacking the camera crew...
The completed documentary about the raptors - "The monkey-eating eagle of the Orinoco" - will be shown on BBC2 on Thursday evening at 7.00pm. Should make great viewing.

Apparently it is a newly made film, shot over the course of one year.
Not as pretty as my lightweight Red Kite wusses, but as you say definitely a real predator - as many sloths and monkeys would agree.
