SEA users have until the end of October to air their views about areas of protection for our marine wildlife and habitats.
A survey is being carried out to gauge public opinion on the best spot for Marine Conservation Zones (MCZ), designed to protect nationally important sites off our coastline.
Individuals, clubs and associations are being encouraged to take part in the survey but the deadline for views is October 31.
"This really is the eleventh hour when it comes to submissions and anyone who wants to play a part needs to speak up — this data will be used to make decisions which could have an impact on a whole range of waterborne activities," said Joana Smith of Finding Sanctuary, a partnership project aiming to create a network of Marine Protected Areas around the South West.
