Re: Wild Adventures
Maybe we should have a whip round to send them on an extra trip just for us, so we get our fix!!!

Following my latest trip to the Mara a couple of weeks back and taking into account information built up over many many visits!!!! (20+!) as well as active (and much appreciated!) input by Paul Kirui and Simon Chebon I have developed a very basic map showing an overview of approximate pride areas in the main reserve and Mara Triangle current as of MARCH 2012. This is not meant to show detail of specific territory sizes and nor represents specifically their core areas. It shows only a specific area of the Mara at this moment in time and not the outlying conservancies. It is merely designed to provide an indicative guide of the areas within which the prides are located and generally move within. It is essentially designed to help assist those who are not familiar with the areas. Of course please bear in mind that pride areas are constantly shifting according to prey availability and many other factors and often many territories will cross over as well as prides splitting in accordance with food availability. Any questions, feedback or suggested amends are all welcome!!! Please note that the Maji ya Fisi pride is not illustrated here due to the fact they are currently split around the Hamerkop area and in a basic map hard to represent. BIG thanks to Paul Kirui and Simon!. CREDIT: Sarah Skinner

Re: Wild Adventures
She went with a friend (Angela I think) as her husband Andy couldn't manage. I know she spent some (if not all) of her game drives with Paul Kirui.
