Barn Owls Empty Barn Owls

Now is a good time to see barn owls on your travels, not only hunting earlier due to dark nights, but bad weather can have them going hungry for days at a time,so if it's fine, dry evenings are ideal. We saw one last night on our drive home at 19.30 sat on a fence post at the side of the road.
They are also ,along with others starting to establish territories for next years breeding.
