Re: Edinburgh Zoo Penguin cam
Do you mean take a photo and post it Doogs?
If so I use MWsnap3 - I think WS has posted how to do this somewhere on a thread.
Will go and have a look now.

Re: Edinburgh Zoo Penguin cam
Its been another great year for Penguin egg laying at Edinburgh Zoo, and there is still time for more to arrive! The first chicks should start to hatch from late April onwards. The incubation period is around 35 days from eggs being laid to hatching
Although there are lots of eggs, a significant number of these will not result in adult birds due to not being viable, breakages, and, as with any new borns, some will not make it to adulthood. That said we will still hope to be left with lots of new additions to our colony!

What's happened to the cam? Tried to check it just now and the page is a blank hoping it will be back on again later.

Re: Edinburgh Zoo Penguin cam
just checked and the page is up again now Lai but it's too dark for the cam but it is still running. Maybe it was just a hiccup or they were doing something with the cam.

Re: Edinburgh Zoo Penguin cam
It's strange that you can't get it now Lai, maybe it is your settings or something. Remember the cam I couldn't get and then the one I could but couldn't take snaps from, its really annoying isn't it so i hope you get it sortd soon as it's a lovely cam.
thanks for the picture WS, it's a really nice one

Not sure Lai ?. Did Adobe tell you it neede updating ? It runs on Adobe Flash Player. A one thing you can try is to uninstall Adobe Flash Player then re-install it. Ther is another option, but try that one first. You can download it from this link

That's a shame Lai, hopefully Pete will be able to suss out what's wrong and why you can't view the on the webcam.

Hmmmm may be it was the Windows update. You can try System restore, with that you can restore your system to a point before the updates where received, but its better done by someone who knows what they are doing or has done it before. Prahaps Pete knows how

Re: Edinburgh Zoo Penguin cam
Thanks WS - I did think of that but then thought it could be a disaster, not so much on my laptop but on my pc at work. Pete got back late last night, train delayed as he'd been in London so I think I will have to ask him to take a look over the weekend.
Meantime it's over to you for penguin watch - oh and the other one i've lost is Slimbridge, two cams
