that both my laptop and pc at work have decided not to show the cam Mad

You couldn't really see him this morning but if you look at the second row back and second from the let, there is a little chick in the ring, the parent is bending down and another Penguin is just walking up to the ring. It's clearer on the streaming but at least we can see a chick. It seems to be the only one in that section at the moment and the chick counter has not gone up yet.

Theres still enough light to see the penguines and they are all still milling around and sitting on their nests. The video is gorgous Lai, they are so cute and what a lovely job those keepers have. The two chicks at the end lying together are so adorable. Thanks for the link Lai Very Happy

Edinburgh Zoo Penguin Cam

Penguin Pool Maintenance

Our penguin enclosure will be the focus of an intensive maintenance and upgrade programme over the next few months. The existing pool has served our large colony of Kings, Gentoos and Rockhoppers extremely well for 20 years, and to ensure it continues to do so in the future we need to carry out this essential work.

We apologise for any disappointment and we will re-launch our penguin cam as soon as the work has been completed.

In the meantime please enjoy the video below of our Gentoo Colony enjoying some enrichment with a difference. Alternatively why not log-on to our panda cam.
