Adina Farmaner, Executive Director of the Jane Goodall Institute UK, said: ‘It is a reality that bushmeat is being sold on the streets of Britain and I am not surprised that is available in the Midlands.
‘From my own experience of Brixton market in London all you have to do is ask for some ‘special meat’ for a ‘special ceremony’ and you will get what you are looking for.

I found this very sad reading.

Very sad and somewhat shocking, although bushmeat is still readily available in other countries. There is a restaurant in Nairobi called Carnivore where you used to be able to get anything and everything. I think nowadays they are more restricted thankfully.

Thanks WS. I will have a look later as i'm dashing to get ready for work but I bet it makes for sober reading.

The name of that restaurant just says it all doesn't it Lai.....Not good at all...shame it's still open even though it is more restricted.
