Computer Question

Work performed a 'server maintenance and updating software' last Tuesday 5th April. Since then certain sites I go on in work, including WAA, freeze and I have to leave the site. Everytime I go back onto the site it freezes again when I try to go past the homepage.

Does anyone have any ideas what is going on?

Are the other sites you go on to do with your work, or are all the sites you go on that freeze non work related ?

It seems to be when I have to sign in to a site it freezes, but I can view WAA without signing in. It is just a pain when you want to reply and cant. I was wondering if the maintenance could have any effect on this?

It depends on what they have done SM. At Mrs S's work, they have blocked access to non work related sites, with different levels of access depending on your password clearance level. Thats why I asked if you use any site that are work related, if you can get on them, but not sites like WAA, or FB you could have been blocked

Dont know what has happened, but was able to get on yesterday without any trouble so worked on buttons etc on the forum practically all day and am able to get on ok this morning. Fingers crossed the problems are over.

OK WS the plot thickens. I was off yesterday and after running around town chasing appointments thought I would sit down and have a good read through the forum to catch up, but no. The same thing happened as happened before on works computer. I could sign in and read, but that was it.

I can only assume WAA and the phpBB platform no longer likes Safari Maiden

Any thoughts, I would hate to have to signup under a new name. Im me SM always have been for years.
