There was a little fair in town today and they had a few Raptors from a local bird of prey centre there, so I took a few pics

Lovely to see the Birds of Prey PPH. We have a centre near us that does the same thing, they really are great to see, but I've never had my Camera with me when they have been on display. Well done

they were doing a few displays throughout the day but we weren't around when they were and it was such a hot day and so many people around we decided not to wait around

Shame you missed them PPH but sensible not to hang around if it was so hot, those kind of fairs can get pretty packed can't they.

They are beautiful birds, all of them ! It's lovely to be able to see them up close like that. I'm often amazed at how big some of them actually are affraid

Ian and I have on a couple of occasions (although not for quite a few years) gone out hunting with Harris Hawks, that's an amazing experience. I remember at the end of the day the guy was going to show us how to skin one of the albino the birds had caught but I said no thank you, turned my back and held onto one of the HH's for a bit longer - I know its what you do but I drew the line at that !!! Shocked
