Thought this was an interesting read. It was not something I was aware of or thought it could delay or affect paternity.

Thats is as you say interesting LW, but I notice at the end the RSPB say they will follow the study, but are not changing their advice on feeding throughout the year. So I'm going to carry on untill they say otherwise. Thanks for posting it LW

Oh i'm not going to stop either WS. It said a couple of times in the article not to stop feeding them in the winter but to stop feeding at the end of March to avoid the breeding season. But Birds have been fed all year for many years so until otherwise scientifically sound, i'm not going to stop feeding at all.

Interesting article, I know they always used to say not to feed throughout the year but recently I thought the RSPB had said to continue feeding day in and day out - confusing i think.

I'm going to carry on feeding until there's more evidence to say otherwise.

Your right Lai, the RSPB over recent years have said to continue feeding the Birds throughout the year
