I got them at the weekend, I'm not sure what type of tree it is, I'll leave that to you Botanist experts Very Happy , but it was loaded with berrys, and the leaves were changing colour.

Beautiful photos WS. I think photo one and two is a Viburnum opulus, and it's a type of Rowan tree in the third photo. You've got some lovely colours there - more photos please Laughing

The first day of autumn this year is Friday 23rd September, but I think it's coming early What a Face

At lunchtime I saw for the first time in years a large flock of starlings, they flew over a couple of times, stopped on the apple trees, tried to use the feeders, it was chaos but lovely to watch, I grabbed my binos and enjoyed the moment. Then they were off Laughing

Biggest hint of Autumn for me is the sign that we had to put our heating on at the weekend!

I Agree SM - It's been really chilly up here since the weekend and we too had to put the heating on pale

They are all of the same Tree Lai, so its either one or the other. We have had to put our heating on as well. Global warming ?

Ah ok I was looking at the leaves in the third photo but see they are a different shrub/tree in the background Embarassed so stick with my first answer - viburnum :study: and they really are beautiful berries.

Thanks Lai. I think summer this weekend's going to be between 1-00pm & 2-00pm on Saturday, and 2-30pm & 3-00pm on Sunday

Love the berry pics WS Very Happy I have a few berryshots I will try and post tomorrow.......not as good as yours WS but the berries are out in force at the moment and it's been a good year for the soft fruit and a lot of it has been early........I reckon that means we are in for another hard winter......if the berries come early and in abundance it usually means a tough winter.......need to get the feeders sorted and full for the winter guy's.

there are berries on the bush outside my living room window, not sure what type it is though. will have to get a picture of it so you can let me know. All I know is that the birds (especially the sparrows) love them

Is your Berry Bush the same as this one PPH? the birds seem to love this as well.
