Thats something I've not heard of a Fake Autumn before PPH, but I suppose the weather we had in spring could really affect the trees

Interesting. The seasons are changing aren't they and it is difficult to fathom out whats happening when. This year we have seen an abundance of early berries of all kinds. A nice read, thanks PP.

Trust me there's nothing fake about it,we've had the fire lit and the Pink Footed Geese are arriving in their Thousands,early this year,bad winter on the way?

The weather doesnt even know what the weather is doing let alone the seasons. TB not looking forward to the long winter. I heard on the radio the first snows are expected next month. What joy!

I reckon we are in for a bad winter too TB. Last year was bad enough but I know I keep going on about the berries and the birds that have been migrating early but it is a sure sign that it's going to be tough and the berries were out even earlier this year than last year.

Strathbeg usually sees the first birds,but they don't tend to stay there for long,as they keep moving south.We have about 3000 or so,last year they peaked at over 35000.Got the camera ready................

How wonderful to have your own migration TB, it must be so exciting to have them all arrive. So glad you have your camera at the ready......we are here in anticipation of the pics bounce

These are old pictures,not sure if you've already seen them,but these are a few Pink Foots on the stubble field at the edge of our village,taken with my old camera.

TB old camera or not those are great photos, and we've not seen them before. Must be fantastic to see them,do they all come in, and tahe off at the same time ?

I don't recall seeing those before TB. They are brilliant, I love the second photo where you can see them all in flight, individually they are all stunning but I have two favourite little birds on that picture, I will try and point them out later if you don't mind me copying your photo.
A great migration there TB and can't wait to see this years.
