RSPB study reveals big increase in sightings on waterways of majestic bird.
It had been feared they’d been a casualty of two extra-cold winters. But Britain’s kingfishers are flying high.
The brightly coloured birds were spotted on almost-two thirds of riverbanks surveyed by wildlife enthusiasts.......

Great news and stunning photos. We were pleased to see that our resident Kingfishers survived last winter despite the awful weather.
