Fantastic news EG - great to see the improvement in Sage.
Never mind Mrs S - I have been thinking about another spaniel for ages

Re: The importance of research
That looks a completely different mouth doesn't it and I bet Sage feels so much happier. I still can't get over the shots of her mouth though EG, they are fascinating, I am so pleased she is doing well.
Pups with mum are I can see a battle between Lai Pai and Mrs S.......not sure if WS's parental block will stop Mrs S
Hope you and Kate have managed to catch up on some sleep

Re: The importance of research
Hi LW
Well Kate might beat everybody, she wants to keep all three pups, I'm having none of it our vets bills are enough already.
Did you see that about the scops owls the white faced?
Kate & I are rested now it all got very tiring & worrying but its all back to relative normal now which is a relief.
Kind wishes to all

HI EG
That is a gorgeous photo of Tia and the pups. To rehome them is going to be so tough on the heart strings but I understand about the vet bills.
Yeah I saw the info you put up about the white faced scops owls, was he talking about the Southern or the Northern?
They do interest me and I found this little video, funnily from wildearth.tv which is a favourite on here. Such a gorgeous owl and I am still reasearching, even though I am a little quiet about it, my searching is going on but not found the book yet.
The little white faced scops in this video is only about 7 or 8 inches long

Re: The importance of research
Hi LW, WS
I am glad your with Kate on the pup thing, that’s all very cozy but we are still not keeping one lol
As for the scops it does not matter which scops it does not even matter if it’s a white faced its just the one Kate likes the look of, as for your research I think the more time you take the better decision you’ll make, I took 10 years before I got sage not that I am suggesting you do the same just be sure about it which I am confident you will.
My player has a problem today so tried to view the vid link but did not work will look again when I fix the issue in the meantime that book see link.

happy Christmas to you all.

Re: The importance of research
Oooooooooo EG they are so scrummy and a week old today not that they should be eating cake
I am so not in line for another dog but if I was I would have the Black & White one, is it a male? he so looks male and from the photo my impression is he is a little pickle......now I expect it's female and as good as gold
They are so stunning and I think you are right to call them 1,2 & 3 otherwise it would be so tough to home them.
By the way.....which one is Mrs S up for

Re: The importance of research
the black & white is a male he was born bigger & is still bigger he just pushes the rest out the way, he would be my choice i think.
Re: The importance of research
I knew it he is just so cheeky looking and looks like he would be real fun to have, whoever has him is going to be so lucky and he has spectacular markings.

Re: The importance of research
EG- I have sent a friend request on FB for Sage.
The pups are so adorable, I would probably be like Kate the longer you have them. I couldnt part with them, I have a big heart.
Can you post more as they get a little older?
