Her eyes are just beautiful I love you

Here's a picture of Bahati with mum Olive taken last year in the Mara - you can clearly see the difference in the colour of mum & daughter Cool

Andy Rouse - Wildlife Photographer Ob10

Anyone know if they will change colour or will she be a gorgeous blue eyed leopard for the rest of her days ??

Now that's a good question Doogs. I've no idea, I always thought they had hazel eyes, so maybe Bahati is unusual?

Tried finding out on the internet, but nothing conclusive, the only thing I found is that Snow Leopards can have grey eyes that can be confused with Blue, looks like we'll have to ask

Doogs another great find! I can't believe how absolutely stunning his photos are! I will certainly be keeping my eye on the blog and check out FB as well. That is a good question about the eyes. We'll have to start nosing around asking about that one. Someone here ought to be able to dig up some info.

A couple more updates from Andy Rouse - 12th February and some more wonderful photos of Bahati - he really does get some superb photos.

He's back in the Mara in August for the migration so that will be something to look forward to.

Thanks for the nudge Lai Pai I've really fallen for these wonderful photos that Andy takes they are just brilliant.

I've had a looks through his earlier photos and his gallery and there are amazing photos on there.

I'm disappointed he has left the Mara but exicited to see he has moved onto Rwanda to photograph the gorillas there - perhaps I'll stick a link for his blog on the Gorilla thread so anyone that wants can have a look at these pictures.

Great to hear Andy is returning to the Mara in August, already looking forward to the pictures Andy Rouse - Wildlife Photographer 71418
