Re: Andy Rouse - Wildlife Photographer
what a gorgeous photo of lovely Lorian Thanks for posting Ronnie
Your photos are not that bad Lai, the first one is a cracker. Great that you got to see her in 2008 We looked for her this year but unfortunately couldn't find her - she's a stunning Leopard

Re: Andy Rouse - Wildlife Photographer
Lai, I certainly would be proud to have taken those pics, Andy is a pro and it shows!
WS, I thought I was the only one using big cat pics as a backround. I have what I think is a great pic of Honey's Boys chilling on a small termite mound!

Thanks Ronnie. I now have a good camera and lens so need to find Lorian again
I use a couple of photos that I've taken as background too, one on my laptop and one on my PC at work - I never tire of looking at them

Some beautiful pictures - love the little tooter at the end
pretty cool to get your photograph on the front cover of a magazine and deservedly so - it's a stunner. I know Ian gets a few photogrpahy magazines so I'll ask him if this is one he gets, if not will buy it

Really stunning photos, of the Zebras, and the Owls shots are out of this world. I think he must live in Wales from his comments at the start, not sure though, or where. I also did'nt realise the Practicle Photographer Mag was still going, I used to buy it in the 60's when I was an apprentice photographer at Rolls Royce, a defo blast from the past

From FB - 14/08/2012 : Andy Rouse Wildlife Photography
Oh well website is still down so not as big a post as I intended. Anyway this week I'm starting to get very excited indeed as next week I leave for two weeks in the Mara with a couple of good buddies. As you will all know I do love the Mara and this time will again be concentrating on cats during the annual wildebeest migration (a walking dinner service). As well as this the trip has two other purposes. I will be checking out a great new camp with a view to running migration safaris next year (you heard it here first) and also I will be testing a certain new lens of which there are only a few in Europe. As before I will be updating everyday from the bush, so you can see what we have been upto. Just to remind you here is a very mean looking chap emerging from the shadows, taken last trip and only just fought it's way out of the processing queue. More later...

Re: Andy Rouse - Wildlife Photographer
If I did LW it would probably be to go to Rwanda to see the Gorillas. I think a safari with him in the Mara would be fantastic but Vincent is our man out there and I don't think I could go to the Mara and not see him !
Lots of plans for 2013 - tell us more Lai ???
Just checked Andy's Blog - he has posted some fantastic pictures of hares

Re: Andy Rouse - Wildlife Photographer
Thanks for the nudges Doogs. Cracking photos of the Hares, really wish I had some camera equipment like Andy has. Love the photo of the Lion emerging from the dark, it's a brilliant screen saver, makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

Stunning hare photos - thanks for the link Doogs.
I agree Doogs, once you've found someone you have a great rapport with you want to stick with them on safari as they make the whole holiday.
J & A are going to Galapagos in April 2013 and so are Pete & I. It looks a truly fantastic trip and somewhere I've always wanted to visit, (Pete too )
