Re: Who is this?
Hey guys, I just decided to check the video stats for the video of Siri, it seems there has been a recent uptick in viewings. I also found the world map showing where it is most popular very interesting.
Is it just me or is this really popular in Kenya right now?

Re: Who is this?
Interesting the increase since first post on the forum [B] and where the most activity is. Kinda neat to see the views more than double since we took on this challenge and where the activity is. Looks like our requests to watch the video are definitely being honored. I really think the name dropping and pestering had something to do with the fact that I got two responses so quickly.Win or lose we are not going to just stop looking for the answer. My guess is Tracy is either one up or one down from Larien, who I had been talking to earlier. Either this has moved up the ladder or it has been delegated to an assistant.Regardless the reason, it hopefully has moved up the priority list.

Re: Who is this?
Following on form J & A's blog about a female Leopard called Siri in the Pump House area. Starsky, and Hutch may begin a cold case review. Ronnies words not mine , but worth looking into, as it's strange that this should come up after all the people we both contacted, and said we had named our mystery Leopard Siri, also the male Cub this Leopard has, as Ronnie pointed out to me in a PM, is around the right age

Re: Who is this?
That blog post just has too many coincidences for me. We need to see some pics of this Siri to see if she could be ours. Jonathan's approximate age of 1.5 years for the male cub would match if the female didn't make it. It looks like time to start asking around again, and this time we can say Jonathan called her by the name of Siri. Far more clout than we have. The bad thing is Onesmus is out of the Mara for 2 months. I'll see if anyone else might know something about this female. Lai, maybe you could see if Jonathan has any pics of her, or has seen any. WS, it looks like we may need to put our Starsky and Hutch team back into motion!I know that Leopard is still there somewhere, and if like Jonathan says, the male is not shy of vehicles, there are pics of them somewhere and Mom is not far from her babies.I 'll start asking around about the blog post on FB and see if I can find out who he's talking about. It's a start.

Will do Ronnie, just off to Galapagos with J & A so will ask him. Meantime you can always message him via FB or Twitter, not sure what the opportunities will be like on the boat for WiFi etc.

Re: Who is this?
I've sent an email to Serena Lodge, but the contact address I've got is for main company head office, but it's wortha try as that was the area where the Leopard named Siri was seen by Jonathen. Thanks for asking Jonathen when you see him Lai

Re: Who is this?
I had another thought today, and checked back to the start of the thread. I rememberd right, just after the video was posted there was a report that one of the Cubs had been killed by Lions. So that would explain why there is only one now, if it was the female that was killed.

Re: Who is this?
Well remembered Starsky, or is it Hutch?
I will have to start at the beginning of the thread again if I am to ask Jonathan. I will try and do that tomorrow morning before packing and ..................... off early Wednesday morning (dark o'clock)

Re: Who is this?
I have sent a message to Jonathen on FB. Explaining you asked him about our Leopard last year Lai. I've given him a brief background, about the Cubs, and age ect. I've asked him if he knows of any photos that were taken when they saw the Leopard, that we can compare. I know he will be busy getting ready for the Galapalos trip like you Lai, but I thought it might get the ball rolling.

Re: Who is this?
This is a picture posted recently on FB by Paul Kirui. He is calling her Siri, or Pump House female. What do you all think?
I blew it up pretty big to try and see the markings better.
A Smaller one to show more of her here.

Re: Who is this?
Well spotted ( if you'll excuse the pun ) on FB Ronnie. I've had another look at the video, and this is the closest I can get to the angle of your photo. I think its close, but difficult to tell as the angle is not quite the same, and the skin stretches with the head movement, which also moves the spots. See what the other Guys think

Re: Who is this?
Hey guys! Good job getting the comparison shots up. I agree that the angles really don't match well enough to see the spots clearly. What I do see pretty clearly is the necklace though. Doesn't look like a match to me at this point. Notice that our Siri has pretty much a straight necklace, while Paul's has a large "blotch" for lack of a better word, on the left of hers. I think we're gonna have to keep looking.

Re: Who is this?
Thanks for that Photo Doogs. No not a spanner really, I think both Ronnie, and myself realised that was'nt our Siri. Yours and Paul K's pic are the same female. We;d heard of the Pump House Female before, but Pauls started calling her Siri which we though was a bit of a coincidence. As Ronnie says we'll still keep our eyes open

Excellent Doogs! You definitely have a shot of the same female as Paul. Not
our Siri. Guess Starsky and Hutch still have work to do! Lol! We'll find her.

Re: Who is this?
I think that female has had cub(s) recently. There was 2 but may only be one now (tried to find out but couldn't get it clarified). The cub(s) would still be very young come November time when we are out there, that is one thing that has eluded us on 5 safari trips . . . leopard cubs, I'll keep hoping and dreaming that one day we are lucky
