Hello everybody!
I am more than happy to be a albino among such lovely albino albino albino that I was lucky to find here! I can also supply some more cotton wood for WS, if need be! cat
Amur girls have been shy today, as they were on July 26th, the day of their party. Amur Leopard - Page 6 327467
Well, zoo people weren't at all surprised, as it was only too smart of them to keep themselves hidden with all that confusion, right? I Agree
Nonetheless, it was a huge success, with a big crowd at the zoo, as well as all Estonian media and some Russian TV. By the way, here's a link to a Russian video and no, I don't speak Russian either, ROFL but there are some images of the girls not previously seen, so I believe it's worth watching!

And here's a gallery with some images... There was a leopard print cake, obviously! Razz

Some images I managed to capture very early today...
Actually, it was BEFORE I went to bed, due to the time zones! Very Happy

This little cutie is Vlada, named after her sponsor, first name Vladimir, who of course was at the party and was very proud of his beautiful "namesake"! alien

affraid Looks like the Sisterhood of albino has gone mutinational lol! I do'nt know about more cotton wool, I think it could be ear plugs Amur Leopard - Page 6 40683
There was certainly a big crowd there Prinz*, and the video had some great images of the Cubs, loved the way Mum came out with food in her mouth to see what was going on, and then did a manicure on her nails. I really liked the image on the gallery of the little one drawing a pic of the leopards, and finaly some great pics from yourself
Thanks Prinz*

Hi WS! :)
They do love their tunnel! I Agree
They are little predators already, attacks and ambushes all the time! lol!
It's very funny when they see some insect and try to catch it... When they were in the nest it was easier to see it: they used to do it even with flies! ROFL

Hi littlewid! :)
You are absolutely right ROFL , it IS an addiction lol! , that's why I cannot do much else with my spare time geek at least not while I am at the computer, I mean! Amur Leopard - Page 6 40683
Baruto was a VERY sweet cub... And truly handsome too! I love you
If anyone is interested, there are beautiful pix here, over a hundred, I guess!

Hello there! Very Happy
Glad you're enjoying the furry sweeties, I feel like some distant old relative showing pictures of my cuties! alien
Doogs, people at the Estonian forum say the cubs are pretty active Amur Leopard - Page 6 853843 in the evenings, and I've seen them many times around 9pm Estonian time.
They also like to play at 5am, 6am, but I guess this would not be a good time for you guys because of the time zone... Sleeping
Good luck! :)

Thanks Prin* some really stunning photos on you link, beautiful to see. The thing with the internet is that no one's really distant these days. I think some where on this thread I did put what the best time in the UK was to see the Cubs but cant remember where. Lets see if we, can find out the time difference between Estonia, and the UK, so we can work out the best viewing time here.

Hello again, my friends! rabbit
Thanks for the kind message, littlewid! Hug Great to be accepted as a fellow albino !!! Ginger Cat
WS, please correct me if I am wrong scratch , but I guess now is 11:55 in the UK. What the Estonian webcams show is 00:55, so I think they are one hour ahead of you.
Today I saw the cubs around 8pm again, so it would be 7pm for you guys. I'm afraid some of you might still be on your way back from work :| , but I've seen the cubs around 9pm many times, so give it a try! cat
Of course, time allowing, I'll continue recording them AND uploading my videos! albino albino albino

Hello Prin*

Never apologise for not being on here because you are spending time with your new pet.
He is sooooooo adorable I love you I have just had his pictures on a slide show and let them go round and round, what wonderful pictures and I am in love with him. As the others have said, whats his name, how old is he, how did you get him? we need to give our newest member to the forum a good welcome Group Hug

I have had 3 black cats in my time and they have all been such lovely cats, Magic was my first and she was such a gentle cutie, then I had Spook, a very big boy but a gentle giant who had every piece of my heart and I now have Sparkles, I have had her for 7 years and she is fairly shy but so very sweet, she lives with two Maine Coons.

It must be amazing having your own pet for the first time, it's so lovely to share your life with them isn't it and I bet your beautiful boy will give you loads of love, fun and happiness, i'm really pleased and excited for you nd thanks so much for letting us know about him but you know we will now want regular updates on him and what he has been up too. If you like you can start his own thread in the pet section so he has his own place for piccies and updates.

Look forward to hearing more about him and seeing lots of pictures as he settles in with you.

Hello, everybody! albino albino albino
Thanks so much for your understanding and for the warm welcome Group Hug my little one has received! cat
Thanks a lot also for sharing the info on your babies, my friends! I can see I am the only one late here! Amur Leopard - Page 6 40683
Let me tell you a little about him!
His previous owner lives on another floor of my building and the cutie sometimes asked to be allowed in my apartment, walked around and smelled everything, sometimes even slept a little.
Last week, this nice lady came to me and said she was donating him due to her asthma problems, which are getting worse, and asked me if I would have him... I was in deep panic for a while and then the thought of never seeing him again spoke louder than all my fears! lol!
She says his name is Prince Obama, but calls him mostly Prince - apparently, it was her husband who called him Obama - and he has a lot of nicknames too, like Pinpin, Gordo (little fat one), and two or three more... Please don't hate me, alien my friends, but since he has so many names already, I prefered to call him some other thing, so I am calling him Tiikeri, which is tiger in Finnish rabbit rabbit rabbit . I am totally aware he doesn't resemble a tiger ROFL but I had just learned the word and had found it pretty agreeable! It also has the same vowels as most of his nicknames, so I thought it wouldn't be so confusing to him.
Ah, he will be three in October, but his age is only estimated, because he was found in a road in December 2009. Poor one had been abused, and he was left to die. My neighbour was on her way to the beach and saw him, he was all covered in blood and had to stay in the hospital for two weeks. How come people can be so mean, and to do it with the little ones! :What:
Well, fortunately the vets were able to save him!!! He can be a little edgy sometimes, and the vet said it was due to the abuse, but I had seen it already during the visits, so I think I'll be able to handle it!
lol! With this one, I think I get the albino trophy, right? Wink
