That's so nice that they got in touch with you again to let you know how hop-a-long is doing. I'm so pleased he/she appears to be getting better, especially as he/she is still with the family.
Wonderful photos - fantastic to see so many greylag geese. Thanks for the photos and the update Anne-Marie.

And time for a bit of goosewatch!!
I saw them all while watching our family 1 on Saturday!
But I have to admit, had great fun with them yesterday!!
And again a video to finish off!
Now somehow in amongst all the madness I managed to do a headcount. No idea who belongs to who now but all present and correct including the next family group that joined them a few weeks back

I do love these geese and their goslings - they have such expressive faces. Well done for doing a head count, you must be good with figures it looked like chaos there!
Lovely to see an update on their progress and the video clip.
Thanks so much for posting.

Just brilliant Anne-Marie, I so love the pic of the 4 of them standing to attention and the one where they look like they are doing the Hokey Cokey, so funny but brilliant.
How amazing they are all present and correct, thats wonderful news and also how nice that you have been kept informed of Hop a Long, such good news that he is doing ok.
Thank you for all the wonderful pics and news Anne-Marie.

Chaos would be the correct term there Lai! It was mad!! It took me a while to count but as I got the same number three times I guessed it must be right!! They still separate out into their three family groups though when they swim off, or feed. Its very cute to watch!
They are impossible to tell apart now, I think it was only last week that the gosling's beaks were still a different colour but now all the same. I did see them again last night, and got some piccies but have left my camera at home today as I am without a car. Its at the garage getting new brake pads. I will update tomorrow for you

They have been really lovely to follow - it's amazing how quickly they develop.
Look forward to the next batch of photos.
Hope your car comes back soon - it's a pain being without !
