Donald & Daisy are getting their favourite food off Mrs S, and one of the resident Horses is not amused at all the attention the Ducklings are getting

They dart around so fast. Just think how many tomatoes Mrs S is going to have to dole out when they are fully grown. You might need to do an extra shift!!

Re: Donald & Daisy have Baby's
These little chicks along with Donald & Daisy have made for a cheery saturday afternoon. Thank you for bringing them to my attention WS. How they have grown since their first outing and they are like little atheletes on and off the water, very speedy indeed. I will keep watching this one. sambuka

Re: Donald & Daisy have Baby's
WS if the next episode is bad news i'm not watching for sure, I couldn't bare it if anything happened to those gorgeous chicks or D&D. You know how I love cats but still don't like them being asassins I am now going to worry all day that those chicks and D&D are alright especially the little one at the end of the video

oh no - that's my one issue with cats - i know it's their nature but i hope Donald and Daisy keep guard and send the cat somewhere else.

Re: Donald & Daisy have Baby's
Ooooops Sorry forgot to put the next episode on last night. I've just nipped home from work to put your minds at rest. No need to worry Guys they are all fine. This was them having a clean up lesson afterwards
That was taken last week. This one was the other day, they are 2 weeks old in this one and WOW havent they grown
Daisy brings the Kids to visit
Daisy is teaching them where to find food. They love rooting through old leaves so we left some from last Autumn for them. I think Daisy has got her eye on the three plants by the Table they are Tomatoes her favourite food. She's just waiting for them to ripen

Re: Donald & Daisy have Baby's
Phew, thats a relief WS, I was really dreading that something awful had happened, we can all relax now . They really have grown haven't they, D&D are doing an amazing job with them. It was so cute seeing them all preening themselves and copying Daisy and I bet those tomatoes get pinched when they are ripe

The Ducklings are growing up fast in this one they are 3 Weeks old last Tuesday no longer little yellow balls you can see the white coming through, and although it's a bit far away because I did'nt want to scare them you can see how much they have grown
WS
But they are not going to get alot bigger if they go near that road

Re: Donald & Daisy have Baby's
Someone needs to put up a little duck proof gate there WS......or sit Daisy Down and give her a lesson on the Highway Code that she can pass on to her chicks ......that road is scary
The chicks really have grown haven't they, what a difference a few days makes.
I have been telling Lara & Kian about D&D and the chicks and Kian bless him said he didn't know I had a pond in my garden, he thought I was talking about my ducks......if only, that would be lovely

Re: Donald & Daisy have Baby's
It's only a lane outside LW, and it cant have a gate up because it's the entrance to the caravan park, but it is reasonably safe as there's not much traffic, and there is also signs up saying slow down ducklings
